   I heavily disagree w/ Joy on Milwaukee because yes they have a new coach but look at this: same front office, same culture, same core players & they have the best player in the game.. me personally I’d prefer Milwaukee over Miami because in a trade scenario Milwaukee will still have a good team, Portland not wanting Herro means you may have to guy the roster to get Dame

   Let's just be completely honest the reason both have a problem with him requesting Miami's because despite how good Miami is they always get close by and there's no cigar people want to see him with a team that has that been in the finals or Conference Finals conversation over the last several years and realistically speaking there are only a few teams that can actually be consistently in the later half of the postseason that aren't Miami and even if they only did it once there's still plenty of strong candidates like Milwaukee the sun's Golden State Celtics most recently dinner tonight if we believe they will be back

    I think Dame's signaling he wants a trade to Miami as #1, stay the rest of his career with Blazers as #2…but if he says this outright and makes it clear cut to media and GMs, then he reduces his chance to get his #1 choice, which is actually, really truly Miami

    It's dumb for dame's agent to be saying this because it doesn't help Dame. It will just make Miami think they don't have to pay much and then portland probably just don't trade him. Then he's stuck in Portland (which I'd be ok with).

    Dame has no leverage. He has probably the last 4 years of his prime under contract. And Portland are probably in the lottery with or without him. If I'm Portland I'm fine with playing chicken because there's nothing to gain by trading Dame for a small Miami package.

    Seems to me Dame wants to play with his friend Bam and have a better chance to win it all than he did in Portland but not have it handed to him like KD did it. I can respect that but at the end of the day, Portland should do what is best for their future.
