Why Is Brandon Miller Struggling Early On With The Charlotte Hornets? Brandon Miller has shown all his skills in summer league so far. Has shown that he can shoot, play make, defend and rebound. But why has he not had THAT game yet through two games? It is only two games and there are plenty games to go but should Hornets fans worry about their second overall pick?

I think we agree. Miller should definitely be putting up more shots than McGowens. Let play point forward is a good idea. That's what he looks like.

I don't think we should be concerned. He hasn't came into his confidence yet that he had at Alabama, he's in a whole new territory and he needs time to adjust. He's show some good playmaking, solid defense and he doesn't look sped up. Let's give him some time

Yall have so many excuses for b.miller i never heard of a really good player need a good coach or other good players for them to shine! Thats cap he just not ready for this level of play its that simple
You said B.miller didnt have the ball in his hands but he had 7 ast and 5 turnovers so seems like he had the ball he just not looking to shoot stop blaming everyone else for him looking like trash
Honestly he shouldn’t even be on this SL team if this is how the hornets are going to run it.
He’s not the type of player to ball hog and force his offense he looks to make the right pass because he’s used to a team that will return the favor.
But this is not that team and we shouldn’t make him develop bad habits to compensate for our lack of structure at SL.
He is very smooth and has an NBA game! Bad coaching in summer games and just working out the rust! I wouldn't worry about anything Hornet fans! You are going to love Miller in the regular season!
We got to move Haywood and Terry so we can give Miller and guys like Bailey more playing time so they can develope. I am more worried about Clifford giving the young guys more playing time. I hope the new regime understand this. I also hope we have a new coach and front office before the season starts. I just don't think Clifford or Mitch should be the guys.
His defense is not there you must need your glasses he getting cooked and looks lost on Defense can't stop fouling cause he doesn't no how to position himself properly the boy needs a lit of work

The coaching staff and the roster built around him isn't perfect to maximise his talents, that's fair. It's also fair to point out all the red flags he's showing and how underwhelming his performances have been. Dude is basically 1/9 from the field before 5 minutes to go on the 4th adding both games up, he's avg'ing 6 TOs per game iirc. Too passive, not strong, not bouncy, not creating separation, and not defending well. Is the SL roster/coaching good? No. Is Miller playing anywhere near decent? Also no. Both things can be true at the same time, and we should all acknowledge that as fans. Doesn't mean hating, just being fair to the reality in front of our eyes. Gui Santos and Champaigne looked like NBA ready starters against him, he see scrubs putting up 20 points in all of those random SL games, if we don't start being worried about the 2nd pick putting 11 PPG, we just set the bar for the franchise extremely low.
Yeah the PG thing is a BIG problem in SL right now the Hornets desperately need a playmaker that can allow Brandon to actually set his feet and work. Bouknight is a BUST he's Malik Monk Jr. Kai Jones is a bigger BUST he's Willie Cauley-Stein Jr. PLEASE sit these bums and NEVER let them step foot on the court again. SIGN BOL BOL NOW!!!
