Im rooting so strongly for this guys success it makes no sense to me.
He’s gonna have me watching 905 games this season if he ain’t up in the big leagues. He is so entertaining to watch out there. His passing ability at his size is insane. If he was a few inches taller, traditionally, he would be the perfect point guard for a team like ours. I am rooting for him because he is a pleasure to watch. Can’t wait to see him in Summer League.

It’d be a nice success story but most players his size end up being nobodies. He’d have to be extremely talented and hard working and even then his height will still hamper him.

Hard not to root for a guy that based on size alone makes me feel like I could take an NBA player (obviously he would roast me, it’s just the hypothetical based on his size alone)
Markquis is going to focus on the low game, closer to the floor, and fast dribbling to penetrate. And steal ball from taller players who can’t reach that low. It’s a lost art.
As a fellow 5’7er I’m rooting for him so hard.

Does anyone know what his other measurements are?
He’s not going to have the same type of run he had in Kansas State but it really does come to down whether he could carve a role. Hopefully he can be a quick offensive punch off the bench for us either this year or next year. Even FVV as much heart he got, he got 3-4 inches on Nowell and still was hard to watch on offense (however defensively the first few years he was a beast). At the end of the day, if he can ball he can ball so we’ll see if he can make impact NBA level
