2:03 WHAT PROMISE? Being told there's no trade talks involving you at the moment AND a week later being traded isn't being lied to, ALOT can happen in a week!
Celtics needed a 3 team trade to get Porziņģis to Boston. Clippers wanted Brogdon in the first trade attempt that fell through and Memphis wanted Smart in their trade inclusion.
Who will replace Smart's toughness? Celtics now a team of talented marshmallows. They'll miss him.
Bob Ryan mentioned that it's good that a person of color embraced Boston, but as I just told him and Gary on my twitter, that it's part of the reason why the Celtics haven't gotten that elite free agent cause of the race reputation in the city of Boston, and that I mentioned that Larry Bird was loved in Boston, his race fitted the city, but he still faced racial stereotypes in the league by the majority of the NBA. That's why I think it's one of the reasons it's cost the Celtics top free agents, and the other reason is that it's not guys destination, only thing you got on your side is Celtic tradition.
