did i miss where it says how long this tourney lasts? I only saw that the final four is dec 7-9. i imagine this is gonna be tough on players if its a playoff type atmosphere in a short time frame mid season

As a big soccer fan, I’m in the minority who actually thinks something like this could be really cool.
Particularly if you’re not adding extras games why not you know? It takes time for things like this to become something people care about, but it typically happens.
With that said, if the entire point of this is to add more weight and importance to mid-season games than why not… Make this a mid-season tournament? I have no clue why this is happening at the beginning of December. Stick this in January where no one cares about the games and it would make much more sense
