[Grange] It’s like a lot of things in an off-season where the Raptors future is still unfolding. But at least with Poeltl back and under contract, they have one thing they can rely on, which is no small thing.

It’s interesting to hear that he was kind of basing his decision on where Fred was going to go, but ultimately still signed with us. He gave props to Fred for creating great opportunities for himself and also for being such a vocal leader that they will need to fill in for now that he’s gone. Lots of good things to say about Fred.

I’m so glad the 🐢 is back. Great culture guy, great teammate, soft hands and high IQ. Interested to see how Darko utilizes his talents.

I’m completely fine with testing the roster as it is right now

The two moves I wanted which was moving on from Fred and nurse were completed

The new signings I personally think are good positive short term moves and can let the team breathe and experiment with what works now for long term

Very happy with the current situation

Seems like losing FVV has changed Raptors’ plans, but who knows, Raptors FO usually keeps from getting out

Maybe now they are more open to a rebuild

Can still trade Poeltl, Spicey P, and maybe OG ( still young enough for a rebuild timeline)

Wait I thought we spent a 1st on nothing? You mean having a good starting center for the prime of his career is a good thing?

Biggest mistake this team made was not trading for Poeltl at the previous deadline imo

His price ended up being basically the same a year later but by then it was too late. They could’ve seriously built off the momentum that team had the year before. Probably could’ve got Thad as a throw in anyway to match salary

So they discussed a potential GTJ extension what, a week ago? Have talks stopped or is that still in the works?

  8. I just don’t see moving forward with this roster. Seems like more wasted years.

What they lack this season is the rico Hines run that hype up the boys and when season start brings us fans to the ground!
