  1. This was not a good trade. He was a late first rounder who played like a late to late mid lottery player. Mazzulla has already costed the franchise by mishandling this asset. This roster as currently constructed is flawed. I would say 4th or 5th roster in the NBA.

  2. I don’t like this move, but I can everything else that we do it’s gonna be a wait and see what happens

  3. These guys only remember 1 year at a time. Grant has been averaging like 25 minutes since his first year drafted.

  4. We just lost another guy, you can not replace, same ole same with all the fans, they wanted him gone. But he was your next tough guy, intangible guy behind Smart, who you also traded away. Grant can guard all 5 positions, hit the 3, team player, etc, etc….chemistry guy! Cant help Joe didnt know how to use him, everyone saying he fell out of the rotation, why? The guy can play! Al is getting older, he was the perfect back up there. Hey media guys, who is the interview now, no Smart, no Williams…Brown & Tatum are painful to listen to in interviews, Brogdon talks like Joe ,a robot……Payton?

  5. Good riddens 2 him and Smart. Bye he is overvalued by fans not basket-ball knowledagble people. Grant is not difficult to replace in fact addition by subtraction.

  6. Pay Brown! So far Porzingis added, Smart and Grant Williams subtracted. I guess we'll have to wait and see if they come out ahead. Quite often they haven't

  7. Well if Grant expected Boston to pay more for him than other teams had to then he can kick rocks respectfully.

  8. I can't take the 2nd round pick hype anymore because hitting in the 2nd round is like striking gold.

  9. Boston fans love to kiss the front office ass when they make terrible moves but then vilify them when they actually do make good moves to improve the team. Drafting Jordan Walsh, signing Oshae Brissett and Dalano Banton are moves that do nothing to help the Celtics this year but the fans swear the front office is making the right moves. Letting go of Grant assuming they don’t replace him with a competent forward of similar qualities is going backwards.

  10. If they don’t think brown is worth 50 million but a 33 year old is, they deserve to fall apart

  11. you cant say lillard and JT gonna be a better combo? look how many talents lillard played with and couldnt get out the 1st round most of his career
