Dru on Twitter: It’s embarrassing that [Boston is] a championship favorite & you can’t land one of the best players available who wants to win a ring…‘What’s wrong w/ Boston? How come guys don’t wanna go here?’. So to save face Celtics say ‘We’re not in the mix’ which is bullcrap” @NBCSCeltics

Here’s your daily dose of anti- Boston propaganda

Let me see, how about the racist fans, the shithole that is the city of Boston and have I mentioned their fans boo their own team off the court. If I was an NBA player, I’d hard pass on coming to that garbage ass city. 😂😂

  2. APOLLO_EiGhT

Why would he want to go to Miami rather than Boston??? Hmmmmmm, maybe because we have beat Boston 2 out of the last 3 years in the playoffs, maybe because Miami’s weather dunks on Boston’s weather, maybe because no state tax trumps state tax, maybe because his friend Bam plays there, maybe just maybe…

  3. bullbutler

No one wants to play in that market. The media will scrutinize you to no end. Can you imagine Dame missing a game winner to send their precious golden child Tatum back home once again? Shit is toxic.

What’s also wild is apparently Herro + picks + cheap young players is trade rape, but Brogdon + picks is fair

EDIT: Not to mention this https://www.bostonmagazine.com/news/2021/09/10/boston-racist-reputation/

  4. I live in Pittsburgh and I’d never even consider living in Boston. That should tell you something.

  5. oneofone305

Bam, Jimmy and Spo simply move the needle. People will just say it’s the weather to discredit them but we know the real. Wade is the blueprint. Relationships matter

Why does Boston media/fans think they’re so entitled to every star, they’ll always cite their multiple championships and how they’re the most historic franchise when most of their titles were from the league having only 6 teams and their most recent title was from the Bush administration. It doesn’t help that this franchise ships away tenured players when they don’t see a use for them anymore, I doubt Tatum retires having only played for the Celtics.

Not even gonna bring up the elephant in the room, I’m just talking about straight hoops.

  7. StevenSmoking

Because it is known they have the most racist fans in the league. Fuck Boston

  8. CanesMan1993

I got downvoted on r/nba for calling Boston a frozen dumpster. Idk who would want to go there. It’s cold as shit, the fans are obnoxious and racist, and the food sucks. There’s no culture other than sports and even then it’s a toxic culture.

  9. tada_afreak

Because Boston is a shit city imagine having to LIVE THERE and hear people speak with those stank accents all the time sheeeeesh

  10. ItsYaBoyBeasley

LMAO I thought this was our Summer League point guard at first and I was like good enthusiasm but maybe coming on a little too strong my guy.

  11. jlarkin15

Fun fact the during the regular season Boston is 80-53 against Miami, HOWEVER in the playoffs (when it matters) Miami has beaten the Celtics 4 times versus the Celtics 2 !

  12. HotPie_

“Why don’t he want me, man?!”
    😢

  13. masterace01

Miami and Florida as a whole has its problems.

But I for the life of me could never live in a cold area. I wish I could but it’s Florida all day for me.

Florida gets clowned just like Boston but I think it’s overall easier living down here. 🤷🏽‍♂️

  14. To answer the question at the very end of the video: yes. 🙂

  15. IWRITE4LIFE

I mean the racist fans definitely doesn’t help.

Also Boston has never recovered from the IT situation. They convinced him to play hurt and when the time came for him to get paid they shipped him off to Cleveland for Kyrie. His career never recovered in a way that’s basically every players worst nightmare. He went from being poised to signing a $150mill contract to being out of the league.

  16. catsandpizzafuckyou

Posts like this are why we look bad 🤦‍♂️

  17. hshshahsbss

Everyone’s tryna cope so hard cuz Dame doesn’t want that whack ass team huh?

  18. Ear_Enthusiast

To be fair, it’s not just Boston that’s “not in the mix”. Dame is clearly trying to force his way to Miami and only Miami.

  19. JSmoove309

Just going to also add on that Boston doesn’t do as good of a brain washing job as the lakers in terms of having players want to be part of their legacy. Players don’t want to add on to Boston’s throw away rings from an 8 team league, they want to take pride in winning for an organization they can really etch their name into history with

  20. grifan69

I lived in Boston for a year, it snowed 8”+ every weekend in march when I was there. A lot of people are extremely rude, racist or both. Real easy to see why I black player wouldn’t want to play for Boston. Not to mention they’re also extremely overrated and entitled as a franchise.

  21. Fair_University

Their coach sucks is the biggest thing.

  22. thebreastbud

Boston is beautiful and a clean city. Boston is also filled with racist and hateful sports fans who will turn on you the second you don’t make a play they wanted. To sum it up, fuck boston.
