Luka needs real help, especially at center is a big need.
idk about Bol Bol, he's a pretty poor rebounder considering his height and position…no real excuse for a 7'2" dude to average 9.7 rebounds PER36 minutes
Frankly if I'm the Mavs I'm not worried about spending the MLE until I get a center trade finalized.
There's just no sense in caring at all who is going to take that final roster spot and reducing any flexibility they have in a trade because they are worried about some end of bench fodder and where to spend their money.
Once they get that sorted, then sure, throw the MLE at someone to round out the roster, but I'm not committing to Terrence Davis or bol bol types unless I'm giving up on a center trade. There's simply no reason to rush in to a contract with these guys that don't even move the needle.

Bol bol is a gem 💎 at SF/PF he's not a C that's what stunts his growth he's a 7' wing NBA just doesn't want to play him at that position bc of small ball but I wouldn't want him at center
