  1. Brad needs to make a big move for two reasons
    He handled the draft poorly.
The return for Grant Williams was very underwhelming.

  2. This might not age well, but in my opinion I don't think anything big is going to happen. Seems like they want to remain under the second apron. They do have the trade exception for just under $7million so I hope they use that at least to fill a need. I truly hope I am wrong as I would love a big move to happen. I wouldn't be surprised if Brogdon eventually is on the move, I just don't see a "big" return. Once again, I hope I am wrong!

  3. Ii don't think trading for multiple second round picks when you started with a second round pick is bad. Walsh will spend some time in the d league. Williams was gone as soon as the season ended. They were not paying that much for what would be a 4th big. They do need to fill in the minutes he would be getting. However there should be cheaper options. I'd give them a TBD so far. I wish they kept smart and added porzingas. Defense will be an issue especially early on.

  4. We are too hard on Timelord. He started 22/23 still recouping from the 21/22 injury, so yea he missed the first 30 games. And sure, he needed some "load management" afterwards. He did miss another 7 game chunk as well.
BUTTTTTT he finished the year STRONG and played in EVERY SINGLE PLAYOFF GAME. can we please treat his injury history as HISTORY. sure it happened, not ignoring facts. Can we focus on what a healthy Timelord with a healthy off-season can do for the Cs????

  5. Brad stevens doesn't need to make any big moves maybe another role player but big move celtics don't need that the roster is good I trust porzingis to be healthy and rob Williams not worried I think celtics got better in my opinion ☘️☘️☘️

  6. #Celtics #BradStevens #7uice y'all need to add VETs that knows the focus it takes to win the Championship! Add ISH Smith Floor General not going to fight for minutes but will lead with the team first mindset and staring in your role! Add Danny Green/ Juan Toscano- Anderson along w/ a big that proves himself from Summer League if Mfi is not better! Have the whole team work on strength & conditioning!

  7. #Celtics a second UNIT of PG:ISH* W:DANNY* W: OSHAE PF: ROBERT & CF: UDOKA* #7uice should take 9 less this season and get it back w/ possible bonus in the two seasons after acquiring his ring! This team needs an injection of Championship focus/mindset! Do not need no more Allstar talent just stars in their role(s) type players! You can interject those players to supplement starters come POs!

  8. This is all about a cheap Celtics ownership group getting rid of assets for draft picks and trade exceptions rather than talent. They don't have the same aspiration to win a title, nor do they have the net worth compared to some of the billionaire NBA owners. It began in Summer of 2008-09 when they refused to pay James Posey the NBA mid-level exception after being a key to winning the title. They were so concerned with having to pay the luxury tax (a drop in the bucket compared to today). Several CBA's downstream they are in a pickle with Tatum and Brown because they run the risk of losing them both to free agency while getting nothing in return. Brown is not worth the NBA maximum but he holds all the chips in any negotiation. Teams accumulate future 2nd round picks and trade exceptions (valid for 1-yr btw) to help balance the books, control costs, make deals. Boston is a large market franchise that makes a killing off its broadcasting revenues ~ Commercials. Compared to a small market franchise like Oklahoma City/Seattle that can't afford to keep their quality 1st round picks beyond their rookie salary windows (Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Eric Bledsoe to name a few), the Celtics also suffer from a lack of talent in Senior Management, comparatively. Red Auerbach is not walking through that door… Let's be real, they got lucky when the NJ Nets gave up so many draft picks for an aged Pierce & KG. If they are going to remain competitive and want to continue to control operating costs they will need to deal JB soon.

  9. Horford played 30 mins per night in 63 games. KP played in almost 33 mins per night in 65 games. RWilliams played 30 minutes per game in 61 games in 2021-22. Can they play the lion's share of 96 minutes per game for 82? Probably only in a best case scenario. So the C's either go small with Tatum at the 4, or they have to have another front line forward/player that can give them something. Brissett could be a decent smallish 4, as he plays big for 6-7. If he gives them what they need early in the season, they might be fine. But it would be nice to have another piece that can be in their top 8 or 9 players. If Hauser grows into it, or Walsh, or PP or even Davidson gives them great "small ball" lineup contributions, that would be great. Player development is a thing. Let's see some growth from the C's bench guys, as well as their rotation guys. Go Celtics!

  10. Boston took a step back. I don't see nothing happening this year for them

  11. Winning 50 games and no ring, I guess it’s good for Celtic brass which are banking with fans, With all that cash and assets, they should trade Brown for Dillard or Steph Curry bring caliber players to win your 50 games and maybe a ring

  12. I think this team rn has more variety than what they had last year and its probably gonna take a minute for it to really come together but I understand the moves they are making. They need to add a wing that can take minutes off of Tatum and Brown IMO then they will be set.

  13. I don't think we need to 'replace' Marcus and Grant especially Grant. We need to change the way we play on both ends of the floor, and Stevens is doing just that by adding new pieces he see fit. Jaylen and Jayson especially Jayson need to put this team on their shoulders now that the 2 'vocal leaders' are gone.
