I believe Masari will try to extend both Siakam and Anunoby, and if that doesn’t happen before the trade deadline than either one or both may get traded.
IMO the goal is to extend both to longterm deals.

I don’t see why he would sign an extension now, they will just trade him to the highest bidder, if Toronto don’t want him at least he gets to choose his situation next free agency.

Will it still be 4 yrs, $192m if he waits until next summer and doesn’t get all-nba? If so, it’s hard to see him re-upping now other than to protect against major injury. Might as well try for all-nba
