Timberwolves Summer League Preview Part II: What to watch from Moore, Minott, Miller, Spagnolo

The Minnesota Timberwolves kick off Las Vegas Summer League play this weekend, and there are four recent draft picks who should see significant minutes for the Wolves. Ben Beecken (@bbeecken) discusses what Wendell Moore Jr. and Josh Minott have to do to show progress and potentially earn a role in head coach Chris Finch’s rotation this season, as well as what to watch for from this year’s selection, Leonard Miller, and last year’s draft-and-stash pick, Matteo Spagnolo.

  1. Hope wendell takes a jump this year mostly as a shooter that's his last hurdle to getting consistent minutes defense already solid . Best case scenario is tbj dont play much this year because Wendell takes tp spot in the rotation or maybe the nowell role if they decide hes a guard. His shooting has to get better

  2. Watched it. Brandon Williams suprised and looked like the best player on the floor.
Minott and Leonard both had blocks that ran back and scored on, and that was cool.
Wendell Moore shot poorly and had some turnovers but made up for it with solid playmaking and clutch 4th quarter play.
