  1. Sorry to see him leave Denver, but both sides benefited and it was a good deal all around. Nuggets simply couldn't pay him more than ~$8M cause rules. I'm not sure that they would've paid more than $15M/y for him even if they could.
Again, tough luck to lose him – but Denver will figure it out at mid-season at the latest, but more likely sooner.
TH is a good pairing for him – and I wish them/IND well.

Re Nuggets – I have faith in PWatson, Braun and Nnaji – and in Nuggets GM to make a good move for a 2way creator/shooter before 24 'POs.

  2. start Bruce at the 3! Hali, Hield, Brown, Walker, Turner! The defense and offensive versatility combined with the sweet shooting of buddy and the top tier playmaking of Hali…. Sheeesh

  3. Lets goooo pacers! Haliburton ,bruce brown, buddy hield jerace walker myles turner quinteto titular?

  4. Now we wont have to start buddy or drew which is great. Still a guard heavy roster but if the forwards stay healthy we r fine

  5. Why does everyone say he'll start? Hes best leading a seocnd unit. Pacers have Buddy Hield at the 2 already

  6. yo, i love bruce brown but Pacers have a lot of guards. where is he gonna get 23m dollars worth of minutes from?

  7. I think B.B. Jr. Can have a great year next to Haliburton and Mathurin and Turner. Hali for the assists leasing to higher scoring, more opportunities. Mathurin will draw a lot of attention with his drives and getting foul calls, making it easier for Brown to get open more often. Turner is just obviously going to be setting screens and causing havoc for defenses.

  8. Pacers are terrible at personnel management. This is no different. We are stocked with guards and what do, we go out and spend $$ on another guard. Denver proved that you need a big guy to get a Chip. Another .500 year for my Pacers. No big names want to come here and I can not blame them.

  9. not sure about Pacers making playoffs, they'd have to be two times better than last year just to get to mid-forties in wins. That's a huge ask. I'd say they are 2 to 3 more years away. But by that time, a small-market team is going to have to do salary dumps, thus shrinking the whole being better than the sum of the parts

  10. Well done! Agreed!

Love this! He is a DOG that we need! 1st team all 2 way role player! 2nd year is a team option too! His numbers last year when he played 30+ mins were GREAT:

    15
    5
    5
    2stocks
    51/40/73
