  1. "uh" instead of "um", definitely shows his age.
He might not be ready to deal with the controversy. I hope he can

  2. LeBron came in straight out of high-school like a man amongst boys. He was beasting his future was undeniable after his summer league. He is so frail staying healthy might be his biggest issue. He also seems like he doesn't have a identity on the court. What position does he really play? He isn't a pure shooter like KD or Dirk.

  3. Drafted two weeks ago, moved to a whole new country at 19, and still adjusting to culture.

His teammates and opponents have either played in College or in the G League. He will ball out very soon.

  4. They should introduce him in the starting lineup and should come out walking on all 4 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  5. Hes not going to be able to handle the physical play like Draymond said, he has to get stronger!

  6. Wemby, 9 points❤-You’re just getting started, we saw you play in France so we know firsthand what you can do. Listen to the coaches and get the right floor placement and roles (assists, passes, rim protector, blocks) and strategies(you don’t need to hit 3s and long shots, your team has enough shooters) You’re fine, don’t let it get to your head Wemby.🎉🏀😎❤

  7. People forget in summer league these players dont do rep with the team or team coaches. They basically have to read rules and adjust until team training camp. Its especially harder for euro players.

  8. I like the kid i think he has all the tools needed to become a star. He definitely needs to bulk up and work on his shot. Its a bit unfair but being hyped as the greatest prospect since Lebron but it comes with the territory. He will need to perform much better then he did. I'm just sure how much his smaller frame will hold up against real nba talent.

  9. when yao first came in he was so bad that Chuck bet that Yao would never score 20 points in a game or he'd kiss Kenny's ass, anyone remember this?

Yao really did eventually and so did Chuck

  10. He was drafted First not because he is the best, but because he has the highest potential

  11. He’s in the best situation organizationally and the key thing for him is going to be finding the physical pacing and floor strategy that allows him to dominate and not get injured. He’s athletic and gifted and I think he will find that balance

  12. Not a big deal, just a first summer league game with alot of missed, its alright he will be fine

  13. Some of these questions can be said in 6-7 words yet these guys try to make it sound fancy by elaborating unnecessarily. Gezz.

  14. It’s easy to forget Victor is 19 years old. Imagine what you were doing at that age. He is very poised and mature. He understands the gravity of the situation he’s in. Anyone criticizing his performance yesterday is overreacting. It will take time to adjust. He will be fine.

  15. yeah thats not something you wanna hear from a #1 draft pick though… The 2-13 was cringey too

  16. He's not used to teammates who don't pass the ball … It's "American" basketball versus European. Popovich will fix that because those clowns won't be playing. Victor will be fine. It will take him a year or two to fully adjust.

  17. Dont destroy him guys, all these expectations on a young kid. Imagine yourself at 19.

  18. Honestly for victor he’s yet learning because it’s a different league and you know it’s his first time playing in the nba and it is a big accomplishment for him getting the number one pick and him playing his first game. But yeah he’s yet learning

  19. I don’t wanna hear the number 1 pick in a draft ever say he don’t know what he’s doing on a basketball court. You’ve been playing basketball your whole life. Not a good sign.

  20. For being 19 years old, this kid is so grounded. He's in the perfect organization to lead him through this. I hope he's got the right people around him to lead him through all the off the court life adjustments.
