Yall are annoying me with the CWood hate, yall were riding his D till January, he gets injured and then Kidd doesn’t let him play. Lol, of course tension is gonna build up, take the opportunity and sign him on a good contract, bring his value up and then try and trade him midseason.
If we let him go for nothing we are gonna have major problems fixing our C, SF/PF and PG backup problems with trading only Holmes and THJ

he’s long and has the body to be a rim protector.
now that he’s not getting signed this offseason, he can finally realize the truth that needs to fire his agent and give a shit about the defensive end of the court
a mavs good will 1 yr deal would be nice to give him another shot.

His family lives in Las Vegas, he went to college there. He was also at the Pistons/Magic game, which I think was telling, I do not expect us to re-sign him, I didn’t see him with our group of guys, I feel like the Magic have their sights on him.

So, signing Christian Wood to anything over the vet min is going to be considered, by the league, a bad contract.
We already have enough bad contracts to trade away. We shouldn’t be adding another one.
