Gotta remind the league who the best coach is

  4. RapsareChamps_Suckit

that inheritance looking better and better every day

  5. No real expectations to win, no chance of getting fired and the fattest bag for a coach ever. Way better than retirement.

Spo’s next deal is gonna be unholy too but what can I say. They absolutely deserve it. About only 4-5 teams in the league that wouldn’t snatch em up in a heartbeat.

Damn. Do you think Pop enjoys that money at all? He seems like a very frugal guy who eats nothing but baloney sandwiches everyday.

His wine cellar can’t pay for itself so yeah, get that bag, Pop!

    Well deserved.

Popovich is the best coach in Spurs history imo

All that money and he’s yet to crack the rotation. Don’t think I’ve even seen him play? Not sure what the Spurs are doing here.

Pop gonna squeeze in a three-peat real quick before he retires

Hoping Wemby can take Pop, I think some the more recent generation can’t take some of the old school coaching. I still have PTSD from what nephew pulled on the Spurs.

  15. SealYourAlmonds

yeah they’ve certainly got a coaching succession plan in place lol

Is the coach’s salary part of the team’s cap space or is it a separate thing?

  17. Background_Action_92

Spo bout to reset the market real soon

My guess for the future is that Kerr is going to line up his contract with Steph, then move over to the Spurs and Pop will hand over the team to him.

    Steve Kerr: 👀👀👀👀👀👀

As it should. No one should be near Pop money given the circumstances. Spo is next but he’s likely not going anywhere and not on a timeline to develop new basketball Jésus.

  21. doc_d00fenshmirtz

Only Pop and Spo deserve that kind of money

Pop is a great coach but he is old as shit. No way he is still coaching at 79.
