Shams has a slant against the Grizzlies, we know this. Maybe it’s earned, maybe Kleiman and he hate each other for some deeply personal reason.
But we don’t feed anything to Shams, and the only time Shams reports on us is when it’s negative (remember “the Grizzlies won’t let future Hall of Famer Andre Iguodala finish his career on his own terms”?!)
Shams is good at his job of breaking news fast. That’s what he does. When it comes to breaking stories of substance or needs FO sources to confirm something – don’t trust anything coming from him if the Grizzlies are involved.
Kleiman feeds Woj, Shams takes any chance to throw dirt at our org. This is not your typical “the media hates us” stuff – Shams actually hates our FO and I think it’s mutual.
