He sounds like he’s in a good headspace. Set aside your frustrations about his play and last season and what have you, the whirlwind of his last year and change would be enough to make anyone’s head spin and would make adjusting to suddenly being on a team in an entirely different stage of competition and across the country from where you were a lot to process and emotionally and mentally come to terms with.
Shoutout JP. He was frustrating at times, but it’s still sad seeing him go. We watched this kid go from almost being out of the league to getting a max contract. Rooting for him unless he’s playing against us.
It’s time for all the Poole hate to subside and we should now remember that he’s a Warriors champion. For all the frustration, we don’t win 2022 without him.

I was so mad at him this season I called him everything but a child of God. But I still remember the player who won a championship ring and I hope to see him again. Good luck to him.

This will be good for him. He needs to be a first option on a bad team that isn’t competing. No expectations. All the shots he wants. It will drastically improve his IQ. As harsh of a critic I’ve been of his, I’m sad he’s gone. But this move is a win for everyone. Warriors can ideally compete now, Poole gets to play at his breakneck pace, and people might start watching Wizards games now. I think all parties involved are happy. Good luck JP
