In the interview Fred had great things to say about Raptors fans, the Raptors organization, Canadians, and the city of Toronto. This guy helped win us the chip and contributed in so many ways beyond the box score.
Mainly because fvv , scottie and gtjr played like shit last year , leading to us losing games

Why is there always some hidden drama whenever a player or coach leave’s this team ? I don’t get the point of leaking this information after these guys are gone unless you’re trying to destroy their legacy as a Raptor. I mean we saw the same thing with Casey, and now Nurse. It’s like they’re already gone so what’s the point of Raptors reporters leaking this information to the media and fans ? It’s time to move on and let Fred and Nurse move on.
There was no way the Raps offered more than their extension offer before the season. That was possibly his value at the time. Then to go on an have such a dogshit season, that offer only goes down.

Fred was the leader of the team so I would have no problems with him calling out younger players IF only he also didn't play like absolute ass. Playing to up your stats for a payout doesn't make you look better.

Let's get one thing straight, Fred helped Raps win a lot of games. The downfall was Nurse playing him so many mins that it broke down his average frame as evident by Fred's frustration in the Philly series and towards the end of the same season. And to make things worse, it carried over to the next season as his numbers dropped and he kept trying to shoot his way of of the slump. The best offer for him at the deadline were at the level of Luke Kennard and a couple of 2nd rounders.
Love Fred but please… stop with the excuses. Blaming the team for not performing in clutch moments is not being honest with himself. If he does the same crap in HOU, the immature roster over there is gonn aturn on him faster ones in TOR. Wish him best of luck but I fear there is going to be drama at the highest level if Fred doesn't contribute to winning games.
Every state in US has 37% Fed tax rate at a minimum for $1M+ income earners. Then you add in state tax. So even if Houston has no state tax there is still fed tax. But yes it is a savings over Canadian tax rate. Typically Raptors will pay higher salaries to offset some of the extra taxes.
