Vlade Divac said he would retire if the Lakers traded him. He ended up playing really well for Charlotte. They got into the playoffs. If Dame ends up in Philly, there's very little chance he would sit out and not play and not receive his money. And if he does play , there is too much pride with him and will make sure that if they lose , its not because of him.
