I think most of us agree…

Some things I don’t agree with. But I do think that Billy is not the coach we need nor the one we should have.

This article is ass. It just spends 5 minutes saying that the direction of this team is ass, and then just says we have a Billy Donovan problem at the end.

0 explaination on what that means, or why that problem is much more important than any other problem we face.

This article is hot garbage. It blames the coach with no explanation whatsoever. At least present something to back your point.

I definitely think he’s the problem with the offense. They shoot a perfectly decent percentage on 3, their volume is just inexplicably low. Maybe their percentages would fall a bit if they were shooting more, but being like 20th in percentage and middle of the pack in volume is still overall more efficient than being middle of the pack in percentage and dead last in volume.

But on the flip side, I think he’s also why the defense is any good. Logically it shouldn’t be, Zach, Demar and Vooch are all middling at best. Caruso alone can’t explain it, and Billy’s teams have been above average in defensive rating his whole career.

Has Billy blown me away with his in game management ever? No.

Do I have an alternative in mind at all? No.

I mean, yeah offensively Billy is not a good coach, and he just sort of lets the players decide who is going to take the possession. But he’s also the coach that had the Bulls as a top 10 defense last year BEFORE they acquired Pat Bev. It’s on the front office to know their coach’s weaknesses and get the right personnel for him. This seems like a Bulls fo schill doing a hit piece to try and take the heat off the a-holes not doing anything.
