  1. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a creeper athlete speak than Trae, dude is hiding a big secret

  2. I am very not excited for this. Meaningless games that will tire players out and make them more likely to miss important games. I get it technically counts towards the seasons standings but I still dont think these millionaires are dying for 500,000 dollars split between like 30 people 😂

  3. It’s going to be a 2nd American revolution or a 2nd American civil war in the us. It’s inevitable. Pick a side and pray to the lord Jesus for your salvation. The end is near.

  4. I love that the NBA is giving Anthony Edwards the opportunity to mature. I'd hate to see him turn out like Ja Morant lmao I'm calling it here first don't let Ja go to Vegas.. 💀💀

  5. $500K prize is good, but in addition to money, I think a better incentive for players and teams to win the in-season tournament without disrupting the larger playoff picture too much would be to give the winning team the following:

    – if the winning team advances to the playoffs/play-in tournament:

the ability to flip one of their road games to a home game, whether it is in the play-in tournament or playoff series. But the team can only use this ability one time, so the team has to decide when to use it, i.e. if they are confident about winning the current round, they can save it for use in the next round.

    – if the winning team does not advance to the playoffs/play-in tournament:

the ability to flip one of their draft picks with the team directly above them in the draft order. For example, if the winning team has the 10th pick in a particular year's NBA draft, they can choose to flip the 10th pick with the team owning the 9th pick in that year's draft, meaning that the winning team will move up one spot to the the 9th pick and the original team with the 9th pick falls one spot down to the 10th pick.

  6. Really??? They talk about load management and then they go and do this?.. btw this cup or whatever it's gonna be doesn't count for *ish

  7. So help me understand this, because I didn't watch the entire video.

Players load managed because they complained the season is too long. So we add a mid-season tourney. Do these count as part as the 82-game season or separate? The winner of this tourney, how does that compare to the Finals Champion? So we could have 2 different Champs or a team could win both. This all seems unnecessary.

Maybe this is another reason why Silver had SVG fired. SVG already criticizes the league, I'm curious on what he thinks about this.

We REALLY MISS u David Stern

  8. For the love of god can this tournament please have a better name? "The NBA In-Season Tournament" makes it sound so rubbish.

Other cup competitions around the world have a decent name that sets it appart.

I love the concept and cant wait for it but pleeeaaase give it a different name!

  9. why not base it on divisons because then divisions will actually mean something in the nba

  10. Name it the Kobe and Gigi Bryant Cup, make the trophy the shape of black mamba, and make the majority of proceeds from the tournament go towards charities

  11. This is so pointless. Why not just have an end of the season tournament for a few teams to make the playoffs? I understand they want to build excitement but nobody really cares. I mean can you imagine the winning team acting like they just won the championship when winning this midseason tourney? I dont think it will garner much for the league to be honest. It wont change much for anyone. Even an end of the season tourney wouldnt do much cause most #8 or #7 seeds arent making the finals though i know the Heat just did and they also lost 4-1 in the finals. Hell I'd rather see a tourney of bad teams for the #1 or #2 draft pick 😂. Or give the tourney winner home court advantage but then again regular season success should matter. I just think its all kinda pointless and wont change much.

  12. Celtics are obviously the favorites in that group of course but the magic beat all those teams in that croup at least once last season including Boston 3 times.

  13. 🙎🏻‍♀️MALIKA ANDREWS- “Wembanyama is now entering the league as a rising star…🙎🏿‍♀️ AND WE WOULD BE REMISSED TO MENTION THAT:
He’s a known woman hitter and supporter of women beaters who hires woman beaters AND was one of the people involved in a situation where Britney Spears was CLOSED FISTED punched in the face, for nothing more than just being an innocent NBA fan wanting a pic or autograph as a BEAUTIFUL, YOUNG, INDEPENDENT, BOSS CHICK WOMAN!! 💁🏼‍♀️YES! YOU SLAY QUEEN!💁🏿‍♀️”

(The guy who did it is the ACTUAL HEAD OF SPURS SECURITY!!!! And Is in charge of protecting that billion dollar asset!!!!!!!!)

  14. NBA is pathetic now, such a gimmick to try and get these lazy ass players to play in the season.

Let me guess this in-season tournament will count like some bubble championship.

  15. So, there's a chance that any of championship contender team could win doubles in one season like what they do in Europe

  16. why is that wembanyama being treated like he is somthing special?!!!i can't see it anymore!!
