  1. Ah bro frank u str8 cappin when u said KPJ getin treated like the best player. Yea nah that's str8 BS bruh miss me wit that 1

  2. fred A dillon A jock F jeff green F overall B+ big big mistake giving away kenyon martin jr for nothing dude is a good player he improved every single year he was getting better and better not a good move at all and extension for him made so much sense.btw the others tyty garuba and christopher im ok with those guys out they are not good nba players.

  3. Im just happy with the growth we should witness. None of these guys are long term plugs with the exception of the "core".

  4. You preaching on here bredz … I just hope brooks bring that 2022 26 ppg he was dropping in the playoffs we got a lot of players with chippy shoulders

  5. Im gonna make my first Stephen Silas defense of the year…literally. If it's one thing he did, he played guys who he thought were capable of winning him games. If a player couldn't get consistent rotation minutes, then that is very telling on that player.

Tate, KPJ, and KJ all earned minutes on a team that had multiple vets in 2020-21, and some who are still in the league. A undrafted rookie, and very late 2nd rounder, and a guy who was basically waived by the Cavs earned minutes almost immediately.

Armoni Brooks and Garrison Mathews, the following year also got minutes, and Josh actually played a lot too. I cannot justifiably say we did not give Josh a chance. He played a ton for a late 1st rounder his rookie year, and he lost those minutes his sophomore season almost immediately with no major injury. He's just not good and has no value at this moment.

Washington continued to struggle to earn minutes, and even with Mathews and Gordon traded plus KPJ and Tate out for significant time due to injury, it was Nix who was the one to win the backup minutes against TyTy. Both who played very similarly in the G-League, and one of which who was waived and likely out for the league unless he develops somewhere else.

An uncomfortable truth: TyTy and Josh had the same opportunities as everyone who is still on the roster plus KJ who was traded. An uncomfortable realization: They weren't good, and do not hold any value. Can't even say it's because they're young because Nix is younger than all of them. I think TyTy still has a chance, but Josh will likely be out of the league once his contract ends.

With that being said, I think Silas and Stone missed on Usman Garuba. It takes longer to develop as a young big man, and as a sophomore he was still the third youngest player on this team. He has a shot similar to our young Capela did, but I think Josh is out of the league once his contract finishes, and TyTy is on trial at the moment. Garuba and TyTy have Quinn Snyder as their coach now. I'm rooting for those two since I hope they can still be something in this league, moreso Garuba going into his third year.

KJ Martin got two second rounders. That's about his value for an athletic wing that is an UFA next off-season.

Green, Sengun, Smith, Tari, KJ, vs Josh, TyTy, Garuba is very solid batting. Undrafted signings not included because you literally always lose on those (Cam Oliver, Mason Jones, Anthony Lamb, Daishen Nix, ect)

edit: changed I think to I hope

  6. Hope fvv becomes a true leader for the young guys like melo was in New York but he threw a lot of guys under the bus last year as our vet I hope he just proves us wrong and there was something else in the locker room we couldn’t understand

  7. I definitely agree with the part of the Rockets just giving away draft picks and players without actually evaluating with the new system and coach. too early to giving up on them.

  8. Do a collaboration with pensare basketball to learn about Fred Vanfleet

  9. For those worried about Dillon Brooks behavior he was in Memphis. They had their star flashing guns online and travelling strapped. The Rockets under Udoka will not have a discipline problem. If he can just be a defender will the expanding cap it will be worth it because good defense is contagious. Plus the contract as I understand is front loaded.

  10. Gave away KJ Martin? I think no one wanted him. He was a 2nd round draft pick that might not have been drafted if he didnt have a famous player as a dad. He can be a good player but lets not think he didnt have empty stats on a bad team and his best achievement wasnt the slam dunk competition he did not win. Fans want wins but they also want to treat it like youth sports and keep all the young players together. Lets see what the team does with a coach who will hold them accountable and vets that will tell/ show them the ropes. The last few years have been Lord of the Flies.

  11. I think the team is doubling down on Green And Smith. Remember green and KPJ beat Udoka's finals Celtics. Then the next season KPJ Green Eason and Smith beat the Celtics. Next thing you know he wants to coach out team. All those young guys the teammoved won't play. Not in front of our free agents. Truth be told or free agents shouldn't start in front of our young talents in time. I think that's the thought process. I think they there to teach and support. Remember they paid John Wall to mentor KPJ and Green. Didn't care about his contract at all. They paid Eric Gordon to mentor didn't care about his contract. If they gamble is right none of these guys will end up starters by the beginning of next season

  12. We as Rockets fans; think we are missing this point of this years FA, acquisitions, departures, etc.

You just realize we got our wish – how long has this fanbase been clamoring for us to consolidate and build around Jalen and (really) Sengun???

The reason this FA and signings / departures was a home run is because the moves show our commitment to Alperen and Jalen. All our signings compliment the two players.

Ownership and management found two players to build up on, and did so. This FA shows they believe in JG and Sengun; building upon their strengths and weaknesses.

  13. It ain't in the middle. Not sure if this roster wins then you have basically untradable contracts and you want to sign vets to rub off on your rookies. So Fred I like but it's not like he's doing anything to get you to the next step and the Brooks, for a young team and have him starting over some younger guys and rubbing off wrong would really suck. We will see but I predict Rockets miss the play in tournament, which sucks.

  14. We need to trust Udoka . This is what he wanted and be optimistic. Little ify with Dillion. If he could bring the grid and not the grimy attitude. He can be and asset .

  15. The Dillon Brooks narrative is ridiculous…. Dude can play and he goes hard every night. We needed some grit on this squad and we got it!

  16. Dillon gets bashed regularly but I see a play who has heart and tenacity on the defensive end.. offensively he has been told to hover around the 3 pts line (his words) and he is a bit more than a 3 and D player.. he will start all year at the 3.. mark my words

  17. Great show Ghost and Frank and CSGs. Rockets will be watchable next season for more people. Channel should see a nice uptick. Best Rockets channel on YouTube 😊

  18. I give the FA cycle a C, the draft an A, and the coach hiring an A+, so overall a B+ for the offseason. The team improved, but wish we could’ve gotten more value back for TyTy, Jaygup, and Garuba. Also, I would’ve been okay with running with KJ Martin another year and spending the money we used on Dillon Brooks to go get a defensive big. But it’s done now. Hopefully JG, Bari, Tari, KPJ, and Al P all take major steps in development and help us make a playoff run this year!

  19. My Rockets are trying to lose 70 games next season.. 210 million on fvv and brook’s smh..

  20. 50Million dollar player as a number 1. Would not be a number 2 on any other team. Over paid. I wonder how many years Houston will finish bottom of the ladder – I see the 76's team build – loose for as many years as you can.

  21. I think this year could be Do or Die for Jalen Green. Either he improves like SGA/Ja level or get benched by Udoka. Looks like we’re going all in on defense so anybody not in that mindset will get canned

  22. Lets trust Ime Udoka, Raphael Stone, Patrick Fatitah. These guys know exactly what they doing
The Houston Rockets gonna make more money from these deals than last season. bcos it’s gonna bring lots of fans to the stadium, lots of adverts, promo and marketing as well. Lots of enthusiasm bcos it’s gonna put the Rockets in the mainstream media, meaning more money for the Rockets. And in addition they are a better team now, So Rockets FA deals are a huge success.
