    Nah fuck that

Excited for Walsh but I’m trying to convince my girl to OK a Grant statue in our yard

I’ll miss Grant, but he simply didn’t have the same kind of impact on the fans or franchise as Smart did, so it’s simply easier to move on a bit faster.

Plus it was pretty obvious that Grant wasn’t coming back when Stevens kept on making moves that’d just barely make room under the 2nd apron for the tMLE, but not a Grant re-signing, whereas I don’t think anyone was expecting Smart to be moved.

I’m sorry but his offensive ceiling is higher than grants and his defensive ceiling is more versatile.

Losing Grant is gonna be a huge blow and reality check when we play teams like the Bucks and the 76ers. Not saying Grant is an all NBA type defender, but he’s done a very serviceable job Defending guys like Giannis, Embiid and Jokic. Grant showed he had alot more to his offensive game in stints then just stand in the corner and shoot 3s(which he did at a 40 percent clip). Joe’s system just didn’t allow him to utilize his talents.

You have to when the player is gone

  6. Grant was losing minutes to Hauser last year. A lot of that was Hauser really improving defensively, but a lot of it was Grant regressing defensively.

I like what they have in place to give Jordan Walsh the best chance to develop into a useful piece to replace Grant long-term.
