Monster game from Jabari. Wouldn’t be surprised if he has a big second year leap incoming.

Looks like a completely different player

  2. MudkipThot

Younger than a lot of this year’s draft.

  3. Standard_Landscape_6

He’s officially no longer a bust

  4. TopOfTheKey

Silas should never be a coach of a rookie again.

  5. Permanent_Loser_77

All the people overreacting to his first half against Portland in shambles rn

  6. LetsgoooSonny

    Despite?

Whatever you think of those contracts, this team needed vets and those guys will absolutely make the team better

Wrap up the Bari n’ Tari Ferrari until further notice.

  8. Dust2chicken

Jabari was amazing today, dude was great on both ends of the floor and scoring on all three levels

  9. InternCautious

Wiseman was BBQ for Bari. I’d rather have Ausar on him tbh.

to your comment, FVV and Brooks will help bari, not hurt him. FVV is a better point guard than any we’ve had since harden, and brooks will help him defensively a lot

Looks like this guy has taken a leap. Really exciting to see

Obviously the shooting was there in college, but the handles and shot creation that he (and Tari) showcased today was a big leap. He looked really comfortable handling the ball and made some nice passes.

  13. Crazy that FVV and Brooks will take touches from him, Green and Senguin

Don’t ever compare Detroit’s young core to Houston’s ever again. It was never a debate & fs isn’t now.

One of the best things is when a 2nd player is so clearly too kid for summer league. 2016 devin booker was awesome

  16. Mcfallen_5

He’s really shown flashes of everything in summer league so far. Shooting, finishing, Boxing out, perimeter defense, rim protection, iso scoring, playmaking.

Pretty much exactly what you want to see from a second year top 3 pick playing against G-Leaguers.

Primed to make a big jump this year and be a solid contributor for the Rockets.

  17. Marsman2100

The Rockets young core is elite. Only OKC can compare.

Jabari and Tari takeover next season

  19. DrewBreesAteMyFamily

I’m happy for the guy because the amount of shit he got was just unnecessary. A rookie on the worst possible fit with no coaching was naturally going to struggle, people just made up their mind on his career after one years

The #3 and #4 picks are really showing out in summer league with their newfound on ball skills. You love to see it.

  21. battle_franky

He need this. Being on that Rockets team can took a toll of his confidence

  22. rybres123

If he can shoot 37% or better from 3 this year rockets can be pretty darn good and versatile

Small ball lineup of FVV, amen, brooks, Tari, and Bari is about as good defensively as you could ask (assuming amen is as advertised). If FVV, Tari and Bari can be average shooters will be fun

  23. AnkitPancakes

i just hope that the 15-20 shots dbrooks is gonna get doesn’t take away from Jabari and Amen
