Raptors would become title contenders on paper with OG, Barnes, Van Vleet, Poertl, Gary Trent Jr to go with Kawhi. And because they kept him healthy and won a title with him they will think they can do it again.. The Clippers would have PG, Siakam and Kyrie as their big 3. They have a new building opening up in 24 and aren’t gonna want to go into a rebuild anytime soon. Lastly the Mavs would have a crazy amount of draft picks available to either rebuild around Luka or to trade for a star like KAT. A month ago it looked like they wouldn’t have any first round picks. But if this happens they would have #10 #13 and #30 in the deepest first round draft we have seen in decades.Then outside of that they would have 6 more tradable first round picks and multiple swaps.They would match up perfectly with the Wolves for a KAT trade. KAT and Edwards don’t fit well together personality wise but Luka and KAT are identical off the court.

Of course they will keep both. They want to be that 43-win team fans believe can win it all. They will land 7 or 8 next year and bounced in the first round with the focus shifting to their new arena. Money and a new building means nothing if your 2 stars play around 80 games total a season.
