The Brooklyn Nets played their first two Las Vegas Summer League games over the weekend and ended up going 1-1 against the Cavaliers and Knicks respectively. Second-round pick Jalen Wilson from Kansas had a solid showing on Sunday with 18 points and 8 rebounds, looking in control and possibly ready to start contributing on the NBA level.

Hello everyone. Looking at summer league so far the emphasis has been on defense and it's worked in the young Brooklyn squad players favor so far and created some positive results.
Going into this season Brooklyn has the tools to be a really strong defensive squad and the key will be to find that offensive balance…..
Based on Seans remarks tonight of wanting Brooklyn to be a younger skilled athletic core and using this season as a foundational one to build for future seasons Tyler Herro is still available in this complex multi team trade and would fit Brooklyn new timeline with Mikal Bridges Cam Johnson and Nic Claxton. This upcoming week hopefully will give some kind of resolution on the Damian Lillard sweepstakes and if Brooklyn is that third team to acquire Herro….
I am very impressed by Jalen summer league play. He is showing potential to be a great role player in the nets system.
