This team is really hard to figure out on what there plans are?
There just out talented on the court.
Raptors summer league roster had no guys outside Moses Brown who really saw any NBA minutes & he's not been good enough.
Almost an all undrafted roster.
The 2 rookies both being role player guards, a 5ft 7 guard & a shooter.
Bulls had Dalen Terry who saw alot more minutes then anyone on Raptor summer league roster & he was guarding Gradey.
The 1 real creator on the court is a 5ft 7, undrafted player.
2nd game Raptors faced Shariff's Cooper who was a star coming out of highschool, who had a good college season where he averaged 20 points, 9 assists, but fell big in the draft.
Special passer, undersized, inefficient guard.
But he's many step above Nowell as a talent, better playmaker.
Emoni Bates a special talent coming out of highschool, no.1 highschool player.
College struggle, bad decisions, off the court issues, has hurt the stock.
Cooper, Emoni Bates were viewed at special talents coming out of highschool.
Those 2 were top talents whose stock fell in the draft, both still got drafted.
They were on Cavs summer league team & yet those 2 won't sniff the rotation.
Isaiah Mobley was good college player, also played well next to his brother Evan before he got drafted.
Raptors haven't got comparable talent that won't even make the rotation.
Gradey Dick whose a great shooter who is surrounded by lack.
If Gradey was on that OKC roster next to Mann, Jalen Williams, Holmgren, Cason Wallace he would looked alot better.
Looking at 5ft 7 guard to be the main source of creation was always gonna be a problem.
Ron Harper Jr, Joe Wieskamp, and David Johnson: Get ready to learn Chinese buddy.
Summer league results don't really matter much in the grand scheme of things. Only thing of note is the 3 guys who could possibly contribute this regular season in Moses, Mark and Gradey. Joe IMO has not done much to earn a spot on the main roster.
I believe the in-season tournament is gonna be good for the Raps as they tend to loose focus early in the season and panic towards the end. My question is whether there are going to be other games outside the tournament in November.
Eh summer league are guys who will be playing in the G league or come off the bench so I wouldn’t worry about these kats losing just that they learned what to do better
Bruh. C'mon now. No need to worry about the point guard position cuz it's almost time for masai s master 4d chess move to drop….
So this is a development year and we still need a point guard right? Just needed fvv to vacate. Well now I know there's some one out there who could pressure the rim and provide timely shooting. He would run absolutely deadly pick and roll, teach Scotty how to tap into that BE4ST mode potential, generate chemistry with Swirly P and fill in nicely without taking up all the starter minutes. Bruh Masai been waiting all along for Miami to buy him out so we can sign him and he can retire here proper!
That's right out time to bust out the #7 jerseys again cuz it's time to initiate project: #BringKLowHome!! lol
But seriously not worried if anything I'm all good with watching the teams growing pains with Scottie leading at the one. He will always be so versatile. Tap into that later. Right now time to flex on that PG skills
