It's bullsh*t that the Mavericks can INTENTIONALLY screw over a team and they get away with it FREE of cost. The NBA should have stepped in and removed that damn protection since they wanted to act like salty children over the Jalen Brunson situation.
I love Divicenzo. He has a lot of dog in him and he and Brunson had insane chemistry at Villanova. He is the kind of guy you win with. Very good player. There are so many good players on the Knicks right now that have the same kind of DNA. Like DD, Brunson, Hart, Hartenstein, Quickley, Grimes. We are going to win a championship with those guys. However, we still lack a killer offensive player, a superstar scorer that RJ Barret never turned into. He really needs to take a Giant leap for us to move forward.

Leon Rose, is building a roster for a sports agency, which isn't the same as building a championship contending basketball team.
This philosophy of team building is the reason why we have redundancies is certain positions and voids in others.
In 3 to 4 years the Knicks will be right back to where we were 4 yrs ago, i.e., a lottery team with the 3 or 4th rd pick (a player that will lead us no where.) Management will rinse and repeat avg. free agents players, one who they think is HIM but he is not(Stodumire, Melo, Randle); who will stunt the growth of the young talent, and hit the ceiling resulting in a 1st or 2nd round playoff exit.
50 yrs of trophieless ball will turn in to 60, 70 yrs, and this will continue until the Dolans sell to component owners who will hire a component front office, not based on connections etc., but because they are the right person for the job.

Donte D has been on 3 different teams in 3 years for a reason. He ain't that good. He's not a playmaker. Randle and RJ should have been traded already.

Always remember Mikal and Miles bridges BOTH worked out against Kevin Knox. Remember Michael Porter Jr was the no brainer pick that draft as well and KP had just tore his ACL so we were gona be in the lottery again anyway. Then remember that we needed a point guard AND Haliburton was the best available talent, every analyst on planet earth had us taking Haliburton, and we took Obi. Every scout or draft workout anyone involved with the knicks should be fired. You didn't need to be a genius to get those two picks correct.

Why are people forgetting Jacob Toppin?… forget him being obis brother… this kid is Joakim Noah 2.0… the only reason we dont see him in SL is because he has an injury… He has good defensive skills can shoot the midrange. And the best part is we’re not going to have to sign him to a new contract this season…
Jacob is a more defensive version of Obi… im calling it… after a few good games in the g league hes going to be called to to replace sims at the 4.
