Think D Rose chose Memphis with the intention to mentor Ja?

I mean, of course he played in Memphis in college. So I’m sure that played a part in his decision, but Rose loves his role as a mentor. He’s one of those guys who thrives on directing others towards success.

And because tyus is gone and ja is out 25 games. Dudes gonna get a lot of playing time to start the season on a winner

Absolutely – Ja Morant is one of the league’s brightest young stars – a high flying court savvy point guard who plays above the rim, which is the exact kind of player D-Rose was in his prime, and has done well so far in the league

Thing is, Ja is more concerned with trying to be a hard gangsta (which he is NOT) instead of being a top pro. Made it to the league and is out here flashing guns acting tough. He’s hustling backwards! Rose actually came up from the slums and made it big. He’s the kind of player Ja needs in his ear

    We don’t care.

At this stage of his career.. D.Rose is not an impact player.

He chose Memphis because they are the only team willing to pay him what he wanted as a Free Agent and give him a chance to actually play..

Sure. He’ll go from wannabe gang banging to gang bangs in no time.
