Should Celtics SIGN John Wall?

Join Bobby Manning and Josue Pavon of CLNS Media as they delve into the exciting developments surrounding veteran point guard John Wall. According to NBA writer Kelly Iko from The Athletic, Wall held a private workout on Sunday with multiple teams, including the Boston Celtics and Portland Trailblazers. The five-time All-Star is intensifying his efforts for a much-anticipated return to the NBA.

In this video, Bobby and Josue share their thoughts on Wall’s private workout and what his potential return could mean for the teams involved. Could Wall fill a Blake Griffin type role for this roster? Bobby and Josue discuss the possibilities.

  1. Yes !! Bring J Wall in . Yes , yes . We all know heโ€™s not prime wall ๐Ÿ™„ . Distribute the ball , sure young players respect , also not going to be a big hit on our salary . Iโ€™m ok with it . Or Dwight coming to Boston

  2. I'd rather Pritchard become focused on being a playmaking shooter. He had the potential to be that, he's already shown flashes of it, he just needs to focus on it. The team should sit him down and tell him he will get x amount of minutes minimum as long as he does that for the team. With great play, more minutes awarded as well as his own exposure, that way he gains that identity, can be worth millions more to the entire league and become a starter elsewhere if need be. With that focus, I know he can help us actually win a championship as a playmaker.

  3. This is just filler talk.

Wall is a bygone player โ€ฆ.

No defense – a catastrophe waiting to happen โ€ฆ

And no reason to think that Wall has anything major to add to the character of the locker room.

  4. Forget Wall, he's done, let Pritchard have his chance. Christian Wood isn't much on defense, but I'd try for him or Bol Bol.

  5. Can The Celtics bring-in Someone that has won Shit? Enough with The โ€œ Past his Prime, Non-Champion, Broken-Down Players; Go Get a Winner!

  6. I like this move. He reminds me of Smart with some advantages:

Wall always averaged way more assists and a touch more rebounds. More experience also. The shooting percent is probably similar though.

  7. A couple years after the tear may be the time he needs to regain some of his past greatness. Look at D-Rose.
