That’s a fun contract but my god they have so many centers

Crazy how much these guys are making nowadays

The price for beef stew just went up

  4. happyhappy7

That’s 8 mil total more than Austin Reaves 💀💀

  5. Thats potentially a steal if his shooting continues to improve.

  6. Hopefully this means Weaver has noticed improvement during the off season. He’s a serviceable role player so good to see that the pistons retained him.

Let’s hope his three point shot can come around so he can turn into beef curry

Throwback to when he wanted to kill Bron

Seems like a solid deal. If he improves a bit it’s a steal, if not it’s not really that bad either

I just remember the time this dude legit went psycho on the court after a hit to his face and tried to fight LeBron for what felt like a solid like 5 minutes. Took a small army to stop him and even when he ran into the tunnel there was fear he was still trying because the tunnels connected to each other. Wild night.

    Now he’s getting PAID

I remember him in college. Been following him a little bit and I think it’s a good deal. He’s still young too.

He really getting extended because he wanted to murder lebron I love this city

Seems like a good deal. ~11% of the salary cap. Crazy, but $15-17MM/year just seems like average money for a 5th starter or 6th man type player.

Teams like det NEED pure competitors and he’s one of the few In the league

The corner three he hit against us (Orlando) first game of the season last year to win the game made me nauseous.

That being said he plays his role well and has continued to develop it. Congrats to beef stew

Just seeing that number gives me PTSD from Mozgov

If you’re paying him that kind of money, then he’s gotta fit in at the 4. They got a stable of 5s. Duren deserves his starting 5 position too.

Mitch Robinson contract so hot right now

Mans went from bloody running to money coming.

  20. jumboponcho

I remember seeing him vs the Hawks his rookie year and he’s presence was def felt in the game. He reminds me of PJ Brown with a potential for a 3 ball

He originally was blazers pick and I think we traded it to houston in the ariza trade or in the covington trade.

Great deal in my biased opinion. Young guy with the intangibles on lock. Even if he doesn’t live up to this amount, with the cap increases a contender may try to pick him up when he’s expiring for some defense/hustle off the bench

Why does r/nba treat any team that hasn’t had recent playoff success like a barren wasteland lol. The comments here are ridiculous.
