I think this is a good move by the Spurs. The only thing that is bad is that Summer League tickets were sold out because of him. Fans wanted to see him play.
What’s also wild is that he was suppose to play in the FIBA World Cup for France, but he’s skipping it just to get ready for the season.
The NBA season is less than 90 days away.

This 18 year old is def overwhelmed. Just finished his season. Played national team games too. 1k interviews and events in a month, trainings, contract talks, agent talks, endless meetings, traveling like crazy, speaking his non native language. Anybody would be overwhelmed.
He just played a full season, came over did a million appearances got drafted and played summer league…he's been going nonstop, he def needs to slow down and get ready
