Osman stays because our front office has been infatuated with him since his draft. Bullock will be on roster unless he wants to be released to go play elsewhere.
Sidy and Barlow may be playing mostly in Austin this season. Though Sidy has some really good raw skills

Isn’t it a 16man roster now? I thought teams have a 3rd two-way spot with the new CBA. And we don’t have to cut the roster down until just before the season starts – so we have the whole offseason and then preseason to make the final decisions.
Also, don’t forget Sir’Jabari Rice who we have signed on a 2-way (but may be the first to get cut).
The obvious first cuts are Birch and Stevens, because they are on expirings and hold little value either to us or in a trade.
Then all of Bullock, McDermott, Osman and Graham will be on the trade block for any positive asset. (We will also listen about Collins, but probably ask for a FRP or more).
And if push comes to shove, Mamu might be the odd one out. That wasn’t my thought at the end of last year, and would’ve cut both Barlow and Champagnie first, but both have impressed in summer league, are younger and show more potential and “fit” for this roster going forward. But it is probably a decision that doesn’t get made until our preseason games in the leadup to the season.

None of those vets are starting and they could potentially be pushed to the 3rd unit. Graham and Doug can be traded now, but Bullock, Osman and Stevens can’t be moved until September 4.
So expect us to be involved in a trade just before training camp opens. That’s when we’ll see Harden and Lillard get moved officially(not to the Spurs).

barlow might’ve outplayed a two-way contract, so maybe sidy will take that spot. I honestly don’t think osman or bullock will stick with the team. lamar stevens might stay because of his defense and be romeo’s replacement. Birch is more than likely gone. there’s a chance devonte’ might not be on the opening night roster, but then again he’s probably the only guard who can reliably feed victor in the post
