Hornets are going to be bad again this year. Should have drafted Scoot instead of Miller. Look at Portland drafted scoot even though they had Dame. They made the smart pick, best talent.
Tre Scott wasn't bad against the Lakers but I'd like to see Leaky get more run because he's actually signed to a 2-way contract and only got like 15 mins in one game so far. Shut down bryce and just give justin robinson's mins to him and Amari, would be better off cause that dude is sorry
Doug, I need Brandon to perform well to help MY confidence.
I'm not going to freak out over summer league, but I do not see anything thus far that suggests there is a star in the making, and if Brandon Miller is not a star in the end, it is a disastrous pick. So far, I'm more intrigued to watch our second round picks, as I feel they have the chance to exceed their draft position.
I know Miller's shot will come around. I don't know that the position/ height he launches it from will not be a big issue.
I know he will gain some strength, but I don't know that he'll ever be able to beat people off the dribble.
He looks capable when engaged on defense; he doesn't look like some stud on that side of the ball.
I don't know, man. Just like pre-draft, I just don't see it. I see a Sean Livingston who can make some threes. I see a potentially good 3 and D, player. I see a very valuable NBA contributor and probably starter. I do not see a star.
Will rejoice on the day that I realize I am proven wrong!
