Scoot and his style of play may not rack up as many 40+ point games as Dame did, but I am calling it now, his style will lead us further than Dame ever has. Scoot’s style is more conducive to teamwork, assists, defense, and pushing the pace. These things lead to winning basketball. Dame was a bucket getter, but it wasn’t team basketball and it wasn’t winning basketball. It was entertainment and nothing more.
