While the New Orleans Pelicans are in the same division as the Mavericks, would it be possible for Mark Cuban and Nico Harrison to get a deal done to pair Zion with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving? Tim Hardaway Jr. would have to be in the deal, who according to Marc Stein, the Mavericks are attempting to move on from this summer. In addition, Stein also said JaVale McGee and Theo Pinson are moving on from the Mavericks.

I would trade for Zion in a heartbeat. But that’s because I don’t think he wants to play for the pelicans. He would probably play the majority of the season with good time management. He could be the starting small forward. He’s good for at least 22 points and 7 rebounds per game.
