[Lowe Post] I keep hearing Atlanta (on Siakam) which makes me think he’s not amenable to being in Indiana. I don’t think the Pacers interest is at the level it’s been reported to be, let’s put it that way

  1. and Orlando wouldn’t rly make sense either, they have Franz and Paolo and Siakam doesn’t fit their timeline at all. Deja vu of last year with Twolves and Knicks for Dejounte, expect Siakam to be a hawk in near future 👀

    Can we just fucking do this already? Blue balled for like a week straight. Someone just give us a damn yes or no. Preferably yes though

    Masai really acting like the smartest guy in the room while using ORL and IND as leverage… like in what world do those two teams make sense for Siakam? What a clown lmao. Just stay put Fields.

    The Hawks are being played. They are so stupid and desperate.

    Seems like the more the raptors wait the less leverage they are getting.

    Paraphrased Quotes:

    * He says that Grange wrote a “bang-on piece” at Sportsnet

    * So much Siakam noise

    * Raptors are a hard organization to read

    * He said as soon as FVV left, that Siakam is a guy to keep an eye on if there was another shoe to drop it was him

    * If Miami can’t get Dame, would they go after Siakam someone asked Lowe?

    * He doesn’t know what’s going to happen but this seems like a so much smoke gotta be fire situation

    * Pelton throws out a Bey/Hunter/filler package but wonders if that’s enough for the Raptors

    * Indiana has all their picks

    * Hield/Theis/McConell is a salary fit

    If I’m the Raptors, I don’t see much use in Capela and Hunter is a better fit for a team that expects to be good pretty soon. I’m guessing the Raptors want at least one of AJ, OO, and Kobe (in addition to future picks) and that’s making it difficult for a deal to be reached.

    Here I am thinking this team should do a soft reset and develop their young guys and the hawks seem to want to do the opposite and go all in even more than last year. I’d rather just develop the guy currently on the roster that could turn into what Siakam does now. Siakams late game stuff worries me because he’s still going to be asked to be an option late in games when teams decide to clamp on Trae. And having two of your three highest paid players not have a reliable three point shot is worrisome. And I’m assuming Traes shot gets back to league average this year.

  9. Still don’t know if leveraging our future is worth it for potentially one year but Trae and Spicy P with a cocaine inspired Snyder offense would average 200 ppg

    theyre just waiting for me to get off work 🥹 to drop the bomb

  11. tbh i just want this to happen to get off Hunter’s deal. i’ve seen enough there. even if it’s one year of Pascal I’d prefer to go into next season with more flexibility.
