The point about the best starting lineup is funny because the same lineup you’re gassing up was unplayable against the Lakers. Curry-Looney-Klay-Draymond-Wiggins only played together for 14 minutes and had a -25.8 Net rating in that series. Any team with size can sag off of non shooters like Draymond and Looney like how AD did
I watched all their games last year… they played with zero passion on the road. They need someone who gets them excited to play… we'll see if Paul is that guy. I like all the additions. Trace Jackson-Davis in theory is an upgrade over Looney in the Bam mold.
My biggest concern is they got manhandled by AD and LeBron and didn't really address it. They also got lite up by their minimum making guards. The Lakers got better and so do a lot of the West. I was hoping for a rebuild after watching such bad bballall year. I was at game 6, and it was pathetic!

My only concern is how cp3 answered coming off the bench question when asked about it. I don’t know how gracefully he’s gonna take coming off the bench to a team that has constantly kept him from advancing in the playoffs and having to back up his main rival.

They are really not that scary, they added more age to an already expiring starting lineup. Their main lineup is now small-ball and they will rely on guys like Looney and Kuminga to match up with the prolific centers around the league. With CP3 added they are instantly at a disadvantage against teams with a big, either Dray is a mismatch or you lose a starter for Looney or Kuminga.
Lets look at their starting lineup presumably: CP3 (38 yrs), Steph (35 yrs), Klay (33 yrs), Wiggins (28 yrs), Dray (33 yrs). If they do load management to make it into playoffs healthy they'll end up with a bad seed again and be at another disadvantage in a stacked western conference. If they don't load manage there is an extremely low probability they have their starting 5 in the post-season. They have a puncher's chance but lets be realistic here
A fan. As a fan I was excited to see PBJ and JP this season and then disappointed to see them go. I thought Dray and Klay were fading. Then with CP we had a team for "seniors." But now I'm adjusting to the fact that they might be better than I thought. NOW I ONLY WANT TO SEE WHAT THAT CORE CAN MAKE OUT OF WIGGS, JK, MOODY AND QUINONES! When they got Saric I felt like that was the final piece they needed. They really have a complete roster and are a legit contender. Jordan Poole threw off the equilibrium of the franchise in so many ways. They're better off without him.
