Not even listing Dort lol. The man is what 23?

  3. CaptainMKG

As good as Wemby is/will be, our core is already becoming much more established. Not to mention *the boatload of picks by the way.*

  4. got_ur_goat

There are plenty of reddit posts claiming OKC as the best young core.

  5. roastedhambone

If sports media made lists accurate, they wouldn’t be able to generate as many interactions and views, which is how they get paid

  6. AQWrazorX

The only core I would say even competes with the Thunder is the Grizzlies but they aren’t even on the list for some reason

  7. In my opinion, put the Pistons as a better young core over the spurs in the current moment. Thunder definitely number one as young development and no one can disagree with that.

  8. cowboygenius

There was a post on /r/nba_draft asking the same thing and every single post had the Thunder first. Some suggested they were so far above the other teams they no longer fit with the “rebuilding” teams

Bleacher report would say Russians prison league has a better young core if it gives them more views, besides bleacher report is wrong about 99.9999 percent of what they attempt to say lmao

While it seem flattering that so many fans proclaim us the team of the future, I have doubts to whether it’s so cut and dry. Presti has said himself is not linear, so it’s definitely possible that we slow down while another team makes the jump, closing the gap we have over the other rebuilding teams. We haven’t really proved anything, really. There will be a bunch of expectations for us next season, and our roster is still so young.

Think houston has a better argument than Spurs. Besides wemby the spurs have a bunch of decent but not great prospects.

  12. highflyer2369

Spurs at 1 just because they got Victor lol what a joke

  13. Top_Takes

as a hawks fan, it’s okc and it’s not close

  14. New_Essay_4869

Tbh, I think Orlando’s young core is better than New Orleans with Paolo, Franz, WCJ, Black, Fultz

  15. Cyanides_Of_March

Umm only one team here has a first team all nba player on it.

  16. AngryTurtleGaming

I don’t care about what the media thinks. Our team’s play will prove who is the best.

  17. 4Jolly2Green0Giant

Someone don’t know the definition of core.

  18. marion_and_beau

The Spurs at #1 is just insane. Chet vs Wemby is basically a crapshoot, and Vassell/Sochan have no where near the level of talent or potential as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander… you know, the guy who finished #5 in MVP voting at 24? This is just them glazing a unique prospect.

  19. Iliketothrowaway2456

😂😂 how the hell San Antonio is there? They might have the best prospect, but that’s pretty much it

  20. Pizzalovertyler24

Considering that the original article is an “Under 23” list, but graphics like this altered the names, makes this discussion mute anyways.

  21. Aidanj927

I’m a Spurs fan and I’m even saying y’all have the better young core

  22. Sarcasticologist

Thoughts? This list is trash. Obviously the thunder should be on it, but spurs and pelicans? No.

  23. Zaytoff

I only know half of the Spurs young core…that tells me all I need to know about how they definitely shouldn’t be number 1

  24. SomeBitterDude

As a Spurs fan, this seems like the kind of titles you guys like to win.

  25. Yeah_thats_greeat

This was a tailor made excuse to blow Wemby. Nothing more.
