I love how every quote about Nurse is low key throwing shade at Doc for being a compete fucking dumbass

And this is precisely why Doc is the regular season king and then chokes in the playoffs. He has zero real adjustments bc he did the same shit for 82 games

It kind of nice to know we weren’t all crazy for thinking they weren’t do this stuff.

By stuff I mean trying different things and coaching in practice.
Which is and always has been mindblowing

We knew the situation was fubar back when Doc told that reporter they been “practicing zone every day,” who then asked Tobias who basically said nah we haven’t been practicing zone for shit

Lol I love that honesty from Springer and Maxey. I’m not sure they’re even intentionally throwing shade, I think they just don’t know any better from Rivers having been their coach for their whole NBA careers so far.

  8. Probably wouldve at least won the east this past season with any coach other than doc

I tried to tell people blaming Embiid Harden etc…Doc Rivers is a bottom 3-5 coach in basketball. There are 3-5 coaches who give their team an advantage (Nurse is one of them) and the rest are mostly just about their talent determining a lot but they do an okay job…and then theres 3-5 coaches who are an active disadvantage. Doc Rivers was one of them.
