Dalano Banton (finger) will play tomorrow in Celtics vs Lakers after missing the first portion of Summer League action. Banton agreed to a two year deal after beginning his career with the Toronto Raptors. He wants to show he can fit in on a championship level team and thinks he can contribute to the guard position alongside Derrick White and Malcolm Brogdon this year.

Good adiction
If Delano Banton can learn from Sam Cassell, he may just be the point guard of the future for the Cs. That would be a scary 5 on the floor with Banton, Brown, Tatum, Porzingis and Williams. That's a very long squad to complete against. If it does happen, this is another genius move from Brad Stevens.
Celtics fans are gonna love his motor.
Bench JD and let Delano play most of the game, let's see what he has. JD is a lost cause for this season, he won't play a meaningful minute for the Celtics in 2023-24. Maybe Delano can win the backup PG job (if Brogdon is moved this summer)
