The Golden State Warriors found a diamond in the rough with the drafting of Trayce Jackson-Davis. They’ve been sorely lacking a big and they may have just found their guy. But what makes him so special? Watch on to find out. Hope you enjoy the video!

Great signing Mike!
but still they didn't want him to play 🤔 he's not injured warriors wants to preserve him
Another weapon for cp3 in the sec unit 🥷🏿
Everything turns into gold? I would not go that far, even though I am a dub fan in the Bay Area. Remember Wiseman?
Why haven’t they put him to play?
Are you on the Warriors payroll or something. This guy has a lot of holes in his game which is why he fell so far down. You should keep in mind that college basketball isn't what it used to be as top talent goes pro after high school, so Jackson is going up against what once would've been 3rd string talent. Throw in the fact that Steve Kerr isn't patient with young players this young man is going to have to work hard to get out of the G-League.
Did bro just say they don’t have looney anymore 😂
Trayce another non player drafted by GSW. Got rid of Baldwin will get rid of Trayce. Why is Igodala still on the roster – we don't need a cheer leader sitting on the bench for whole season.
Just play inside the paint & dominate big fella
Let him play and we'll see.
Ooof I think we struck gold with this 1. This is the explosive rim attacker dubs need
From Indiana big IU fan. This guy is a dawg. Hometown stayed in Indiana too for college super loyal
He will be traded next season if the Warriors fails to win a championship!
What if Steve Kerr give him 18 minutes per game to back up Looney?
They git s generational talent at 9 lol
The signing of Saric means he will get a very small allotment of minutes.
Make sure you guys get your lives right with God before its too late and you guys go to Hell. You gotta stop watching porn, cursing, smoking, having sex before marriage, practicing homosexuality, smoking weed, vaping, getting drunk, dressing immodest, showing off your body, lying, and stealing these are some sins that will send vou guys to Hell turn to Jesus Christ and let Him save you before its too late. Get baptized, start reading the Bible, and praying. Start a relationship with Jesus Christ because He's coming back soon and make sure vou know for sure vou would spend eternity with Him and that your not going to Hell by living in sin, we need to start living Holy.
I'm not sure his shot blocking is going to translate to the league easily if possibly at all. He'll be playing against bigger, stronger more athletic and experienced players. He is going to need to learn to contest with discipline which was something Wiseman never managed. Not having an effective midrange let alone 3pt shot is going to hurt his chances of seeing significant minutes early on unless Saric, Dray and Loon suffer injuries.
I give it a year and some change and he’ll be starting center !! 🔥🔥
love that forehead too… bro look & play like a baeeyyst
jackson-davis i wouldn't have been shocked if the warriors drafted him at #19 … many within warriors fandom also wouldn't have been shocked nor either angry if that happened with the most linked names before the draft being jackson-davis and murray
i don't know why jackson-davis who most projected at the very least to go mid/late 1st or pretty early in the 2nd round dropped all the way to the second to last pick of the draft … i did read that teams picking in the 2nd round did call jackson-davis and asked him if he'd accept a 2 way contract if they picked him but his agent declined such offers which i guess made many teams pass on him to the point where he fell all the way to #57
even with that i'm not sure how much playing time jackson davis will get especially early in the season
curry
thompson
wiggins
green
looney
paul
payton
saric
kuminga
moody
joseph
podziemski
jackson-davis
that's the 13 man roster right now and the report is the warriors won't fill that final 15 man spot on the roster to begin the season so they'll sign at least one more player
even if they don't sign a big which quite a few warriors fans want at this time jackson-davis is clearly behind green, looney, saric in terms of a "big" on the warriors roster right now … and that doesn't include kuminga who i could see playing a lot of the 4 or 5 positions in small ball lineups this upcoming season too
i do think jackson-davis has the game to play and having played all 4 years in college will definitely help his cause with kerr who doesn't trust many young players to play meaningful minutes and when they do he has a pretty short leash on them when they make mistakes on the court … just look at kuminga during the playoffs who struggled his first few times on the floor and was pretty much bench for a good chunk of the postseason this past spring
also helps jackson-davis is a pretty good passer for a big man which is huge in their warriors offense ever since kerr became the head coach
but with that i do expect jackson-davis specifically early in the 2023/24 NBA season to get a lot of playing time in the gleague
though with an older roster especially at the PF and C positions i'm still thinking jackson-davis will get plenty of playing time during his rookie season as there is no way i see the likes of green and looney specifically to play anywhere near the amount of regular season games in 2023/24 as they did in 2022/23 with green playing in 74 games and looney playing in all 82 games … i'd imagine the coaching staff wanting to play them anywhere from 60-65 games at the very most this upcoming season
