    He's got a better opportunity to succeed than Banyn and Flynn because Darko is known for player development while Nurse would bench you at the first mistake you make. His height don't mean anything this kid has got that pitbull mentality in him.

    Skip was a Raptor ,we gave him his break in the league.
    They said he was just a street player ,he proved them all wrong .

    This may be a hot take but we’re really going to regret letting Dalano Banton go. Most likely drafting this 5’8 Markquis was the final nail in the coffin for Dalano – he saw that and was like “they don’t believe me in, I’m out”. Dalano is 6’7 quick PG that would have been better for us defensively (and offensively) once he bulked up a bit. Markquis defensively will be a liability, unfortunately most of the league will look at him as food. Sure his passing ability/vision is maybe slightly better right now but Dalano’s ceiling is way higher in my opinion for what we are trying to do.

Watch this guy live up to the number 24 he's going to wear unlike Norman did!

    Chev is a basketball encyclopedia. I never realized that NBA 2K took inspiration from New York culture until you mention how different Burroughs have different play styles.

    I remember when 2k came out with “The Neighbourhood” and if you came from certain set, your my player had different play style.

    I sincerely hope he gets a shot at the Raptors. it would really make me smile…I remember Mugsy, he wasn't a liability….the way the Raptor system seems to bury point guards….I'm not getting my hopes up.

    Hey I got nothing against smaller guards if he can move the ball and be the floor general we need he’s solid don’t expect us to throw him into fire but he’ll get minutes for sure I see it especially with are pg situation.

    Houses in New York are way cheaper i can buy a house in New York for a $100,000 usd compared to $800,000 cad in ontario the Trudeau government interest rate & tax have ruined Canada indefinitely.

    I'm so happy for this guy – he seems like a guy who has worked very very hard and wants to make it and has made it now …. just needs to crack the lineup… he's close and I've seen his dribbling…and ball handling it makes me DIZZY !! He is fast ….TASMANIAN DEVIL FAST….can't wait to see him play for the Raptors. Let's start the season with him on the bench. He may not be big body but he's a BIG PLAYER !

    Hey Raps got ur boy Moses Brown on the summer team😂maybe he can crack the team as 3rd C….But Markquis coming in pretty polished with that 🐕 in him. Excited to see what man can do in spite of his size, if he plays well and starts cooking in preseason and Raps don't get another guard he may actually rotation time. How ironic Fred leaves and they get another short undrafted guard to replace him, who then becomes an all star😂😂

    Hope the Raps give this kid a chance to be the next Fred, I dont see how being 5'7 differs to Fred's 5'11. Neither is shooting over anyone. Likely this dude is faster and can create more space, also pass first. Look forward to watching him in summer league and 905.
