“Everybody begged [Dame] to leave years ago. He refused. Actually got mad at some of us when we were telling him to get the hell out of there. And now that he finally gumption up the nerve to say ‘OK we can move on. I’d like to go to Miami’, everybody doggin’ him” -@stephenasmith

Yeap that’s the funniest part of the whole situation

The media for yearsssss has been instigating but since he didn’t choose Boston, LA or some other market of their preference then now Dame is in the wrong…

Oh and Miami has the worst assets ever while Brogdon or Robert Williams are KEY valuable pieces 🤭

Facts. He should have left in free agency. Then we could have kept all our young guys and actually be a strong team. If Dame joins we have strong starters but a weaker overall team. We basically pray nobody gets hurt but looking back at out postseasons the past four years I’d wager that prayer goes unanswered.

SAS as the voice of reason in the media is hilarious

It’s the same people who were just calling everyone on the team outside of Jimmy scrubs and calling for him to get help too lol. They were just calling us flukes and Bam a role player yet Dame is joining a superteam. Pick a side

What people don’t understand is that “people” is not a monolith. Half of people wanted him to stay in Portland and the other half wanted him to go to greener pastures. The half that wanted him to stay, they were quiet back then, and are flapping their gums now. The half that wanted him to go, they were bitching then and are cheering now. So no, people are not necessarily hypocrites. Because people is not one person.

Pretty consistent with SAS, he loves going to south beach, Miami in the playoffs/finals is a good thing for him 😂

Not because of this take but SAS is an idiot

I like Kwame Brown’s take about SAS
