Rafael Barlowe sits down with Cleveland Cavaliers rookie guard to discuss his rare path to the NBA. Porter Jr was a lightly recruited guard from Terre Haute, Indiana that started his college career at Vincennes junior college where he helped lead Vincennes to an NJCAA national championship in 2019 and a 62-7 record over two seasons.
As a senior at Wichita State he averaged 13.5 points and was the only player in the nation to rank among the NCAA’s top-100 in both assists (4.9) and blocks (1.5).
