This is the greatest example of the difference between the young guy vs older guy (no offense intended I'm older at 65). Young guy is looking for event, a circus with clown car and high stakes, high wire act.

I don’t think David understands the meaning of Free Agency. It’s not synonymous with the off-season
If the GM for Portland can't trade Lillard, and the Blazers have to buy out Dame's contract, it will dent Portland's future. The Blazers GM is running a road to disaster in Portland.
I agree that Miami is once again risking it by going all in on a whale and possibly failing to secure the star like we did with Giannis and KD.. teams, players like to use Miami for leverage and it seems the NBA as a whole don’t want us to win. The difference here is that Dame specifically is requesting to come to Miami and only Miami which is what Giannis or KD would have had to do.
