One of my favorites is from the rising stars game when kyrie broke the hell out of Brandon knights ankles

Not really a single moment, but the creation of LeBronto was hilarious.
The floater specifically.

When Bron went God mode and scored like 21 of the last 22 points or whatever the real stat was against Detroit
Edit: good lord it was more impressive than I remembered 29 of the last 30 points scored including 25 straight

Downtown Cleveland the first time they made the finals on 2007. Incredible night. I remember everything about the day like it was yesterday.

Kyrie’s 57 against the spurs is up there for me

Trying to name something that nobody has mentioned: 2014 All Star game.
Kyrie wins MVP. His chemistry with LeBron is palpable and you could tell everyone in the NBA world was thinking the same impossible thought.

Too many to count. God I hope he comes back to close out his career. The door is still cracked open juuuust a bit

Next year when we win the 2024 Championship

I’ve been to one Cavs game in my entire life and it was in March in Brooklyn when Okoro knocked down the game winning three with less than a second on the clock to end a truly fantastic game of basketball. So yeah, that

The whole of 2018, the best individual season by a player I have ever seen

I went to a wizards home game where Love threw an outlet pass to Lebron for a buzzer beater three pointer. Coolest thing I’ve seen in person

Either Detroit game 5 or Xmas vs the KD warriors in 2016

Either 2018 playoffs LeGoat or Collin going nuclear on the superteam nets

Yooooo this shot though. If this is your favorite non championship moment, I may just have to agree with you. 5/22/09 if I’m not mistaken. I know where I was and everything. Absolutely lost my shit.

Christmas game 2009 in LA. Thoroughly dominated Kobe’s lakers in what was considered the finals matchup that year. Cavs up 20 in the fourth the lakers fans started throwing the foam fingers onto the court.
We had moved away from Cleveland the year prior and I was homesick. Seeing that really brightened things

The original Cavalanche against the Pacers 2-6-2022 – a 19-0 run! I just found a lot of joy in that squad’s unexpected success. Some of Austin Carr’s quotes on the soundboard I made are from that game: https://alecm33.github.io/cavs-announcer-soundboards/

Honestly, I know it ended in a finals sweep, but 2018 playoff LeBron was godly.

I have a bunch of random fun memories that hopeful others remember:
1. Varejão hitting a three on his birthday (back when big men didn’t really shoot at all)
2. Big Z hitting like three 3s in a row in overtime vs Sacramento
3. Trading Big Z to the Wizards and then immediately re-signing him because the Wizards bought him out right after trading for him
4. Mo Williams hitting the game winner and then jumping on the scorers table
5. The Godfather music that would play when Mo Williams hit a 3
6. JJ Hickson’s trade value
7. Delonte West “You better have my donuts”
8. Manny Harris freezing his foot
9. The Channing Frye teams breaking the 3 point shooting record against the Hawks in the playoffs
10. LeBron vs Kobe on Christmas Day
11. Also btw during that game you posted of the game winner vs the Magic in 08’ – I had the flu pretty bad and I distinctly remember shitting my pants about an hour before tipoff.

When we broke the 27 (26?) game losing streak against the clippers. I went, got tickets for under $3, and it was like we won a title after. It was against the clippers in Blake griffins first appearance here.

Oh and when I got the alert that we traded for Mitchell cuz it meant my fanboyism wasn’t fake, our team was forreal and we were making a move to compete again

It’s definitely not the biggest Cavs moment I witnessed, but my personal favorite was watching Damon Jones hit the game winner to clinch the Cavs first playoff series of the Lebron era against the Wizards. I was in High School on our Junior class trip, and a bunch of us dudes were all holed up in a hotel room watching the game. It was just an all around hype moment watching it with a bunch of buddies and seeing the start of something truly special. I’ll never forget that play and how exciting it was at the time.
