I probably have over 6 post throughout the season going over the 3 pt percentage by this team. For most of the season, Caleb and Herro were the most consistent.
Gave, Strus, and Duncan were just horrible for most of it. What I found is that if those 3 could all just shoot 35% or more, the team would be a top 4 seed in the East.
So many open 3s missed. 35% is not some tall task. Those 3 were mostly 28-33%. Strus finally hit 35% in the end of the reg season.
The Heat starting to hit their 3s in the playoffs was just not some miracle to me. They were finally hitting shots I knew they could make.

Joking aside, a great defense can only do so much – you need both to be able to win and we were missing our shots all season. Then again, that’s why there is such a compelling case for Dame making us a top 2 contender at worst. His scoring, offense and gravity combined with defense will get us over that hump
