Siakam going to fetch more than only Hunter. You need to balance salaries and they will at least add one or two young player and likely one first rounder. Probably at the very least something like Hunter, Bey, Gay, 1st rounder. This is even without maybe trying to fetch one of Griffin, Bufkin, OO. Siakam is not going to be traded for a filler and a 2nd rounder. Let’s not exaggerate the report even if the return could be indeed somewhat underwhelming.
Add Bol Bol and run it back. Pick up a piece that wants to make a run at mid season like Miami did with K Love and you never know folks

I'll say what I said to somebody else you guys get bamboozled too easily by the media. Toronto is not making calls to other teams about their players. They are just sitting there, fielding calls and then replying to anything they think its worth replying too. Most of the offers are too insulting and they just say no without even bothering with any counters. Some teams, like Atlanta calls back 3-4 times even though each time Toronto gives them a polite no. These guys keep having the wishful thinking that if they feed the story enough to the media and they keep calling back with different arrangements of garbage that Masai will somehow cave and give them a free lunch. Masai has been consistent about the valuation of his players since day one and if you don't come close to his valuation then he's not going to make a deal with you. Toronto is not close to a deal with anyone. There has just been exploratory calls by a bunch of vultures thinking they can get a free meal. This stuff is meaningless. Just because there are sleazy GMs that insist on keep kicking the tires with insulting offers doesn't mean anything is going to go down.
Saying that Indiana is not willing to include Nemhard in a deal is just non-sense. This is taking exaggerations too far. Just put yourself in Indiana's shoes. If the offer was there for you to trade for Pascal just with Nemhard and a couple of picks why wouldn't you do that. If people found out that that was the deal on the table and you turned that down. People are going to think you are a completely incompetent general manager.
What is really going to happen is that there will either be a real deal for Pascal that is a much better deal that is being leaked in these reports or there is no deal for Pascal at all. In fact I think the fact that Pascal did not sign an extension yet makes there being a deal much less likely. If Toronto was sure they were going to trade him they would have already signed him. The fact that the extension is not signed means that both sides are still haggling over the price of the extension. I would guess since there is nothing for Pascal to haggle for it is probably Masai that wants Pascal to take a home town discount. Masai looks like he is willing to bluff it until Pascal get an offer from someone else to forces him to match it. The only signal that Masai is sending to other teams is that Pascal can be had for an offer that Masai thinks is fair. They are by no means signaling that Pascal can be had for whatever bread crumbs sleazy people want to offer.
What about packaging Siakam or OG for Lillard? Seems like those talks have died down

I’m normally team Ryker but Ben ate this episode I think siakam is still improving year by year he improved his fade away massively, OG is clunky at best if we lose Pascal we lose anything left of our offence

Gradey is gonna be massive for this teams spacing. The offense might actually be watchable this season.
